Our parish takes seriously the command of Christ to "love your 
neighbor as yourself". Our parish is very generous in meeting 
the needs of the less fortunate of our local community. 
Hundreds of individuals and families come to OLMC to seek 
assistance in various forms each year, and thanks to our dedicated 
parishioners who volunteer through our St. Vincent de Paul, our 
Knights of Columbus, and our Mt. Carmel Lights groups, 
as well asmany others who contribute financially, we are 
able to meet those needs.
