According to our Catholic understanding of the Real Presence of Jesus in the Holy Eucharist, all persons, including visitors, who are baptized Catholics or Orthodox, have received their First Communion, and actively practice their faith and living in a state of grace, are welcome to partake in Holy Communion at Mass.
First Communion is normally administered in 2nd grade after participation in the parish PSR program. Parents or guardians should contact Silvia Zaborowski for more information at 740-928-3264.
Those returning to a practice of their Catholic Faith after some time away, are welcome to attend any Mass and to become actively involved in parish activities, but are encouraged also to contact the Pastor at 740-928-3266 for assistance in their journey back to receiving Holy Communion, which normally would take place after an experience of the Sacrament of Reconciliation. The Pastor makes every attempt to assist such persons in a positive and joyful experience of Reconciliation.
