Order of Christian Initiation (OCIA)
Welcome Home.
For adults curious about the Catholic faith, we have the answers. The Order of Christian Initiation for Adults (OCIA) is a series of classes where those interested in exploring Catholicism can gain the information they need to join the Catholic Church.
These weekly classes begin in September, and participants will receive instruction on the truths of the Catholic faith. The process culminates at the Easter Vigil Mass where the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Holy Communion are received. Enrollment in OCIA does not obligate one to receive the sacraments; it is always a person choice whether or not to complete the process.
If you are interested in learning more about Catholicism, call Glenda Reynolds in the parish office for more information.
